An Orlando Luau

Sea World has a Hawaiian Luau show. We were greeted with leis and mai tais. We celebrated Ana Maria's 2nd birthday at the show. She was treated to a special dessert lit with a candle and had a pretty hula dancer put a lei around her neck. Jimmy was called onto the stage to beat drums.

Laid back, in a lei, at the luau.

Whoo hoo! Ana Maria was also called onto the stage to play bamboo sticks.

Lee is lovin' this moment. He's in paradise.

We stayed the night at Comfort Suites. The luggage cart was a free ride.

Smile you're on candid camera

These are photos that I can't wait to show Ana Maria when she is a teenager. Maybe I'll even put them in her high school yearbook. They are precious moments! Grandaughter and Grandmom.

Napping before the Shamu show.

Sleeping after the Shamu show.

Still snoozing!

I saved the best for last

Sea World here we come

We spent two days at Sea World in May. It was not too crowded and we were able to see and do everything. Ana Maria liked Shamu the best and I like the seals the best! Rosemary does not look 6 months pregnant in this picture!

Happy Harbor is a water park for the kids. Ana Maria was a bit shy at first but soon she was getting ALL wet and loving it.

Even big kids like merry go rounds.

This pearl diver fascinated Ana Maria.

Are they inside the fish tank or is it an optical illusion?

All around the town

Ana Maria had everything she needed for a fun boat ride down the St. Lucie River. Uncle John lent her the Barbie life jacket and she was good to go! Looks like she could have used a pair of sunglasses!!

We were on the river just in time for a beautiful Florida sunset.

Radio check, radio check. Ten four good buddy.

The boys and girls in my 4th grade class were happy to have Ana Maria and Rosemary visit. The girls moved over and made room for Ana Maria to color with them. Rosemary did a Mothers Day craft with them.

Ana Maria and Grandaddy in the pool one evening. She loved the cool water!

Rosemary's Baby Shower

Baby Rincon is due August 28. Sarah and I had a baby "sprinkle" for Rosemary while she was here visiting. Will it be a boy or a girl? It's a surprise! Here's Rosie's favorite cake, a Carvel ice cream cake!!

Rosemary and Ana Maria open the many cards she received. We had requested gift cards to Target or Walmart as Rosemary was travelling home on a plane and didn't have much room for anything else. Everyone was very kind and generous to the Rincons.

Rosemary and Laura (her kindergarten teacher)

Jean and Angie. Both wearing black and white!

Levear, Nicole, Jane, Sandy and Becky. Thank you everyone for making this a special day for all of us!

Would you say Ana Maria is tired? Looks like it's way past her bedtime. She wants to show off her bracelet she got for being the flower girl in the wedding.
