A Sea World Christmas

We visited Sea World early December. We were there from 9 in the morning to 10 at night. There was so much to do and see. It was very cold when the sun went down.

We went behind the scenes of the Penguin Encounter. This is Penny Penguin.

Our private tour included feeding the dolphins. They were very friendly and hungry.

We also fed the sea lions but Ana Maria wanted nothing to do with touching the fish.

There's Santa, at the end of the Polar Express Ride. He gave the girls a Believe bell ornament. I do BELIEVE.

A Family Christmas

Mmmmmm! Peanut Butter Pie created by Chef Shelby. It was hard not to go back for seconds.

Vrooom!! Tio Jose surprised Ana Maria with a Tangled motorcycle.

Ana Maria and Gabriella on the tennis court. Don't they look like future tennis stars?

Santa brought a princess dress.

Nicole and Carrie with a flower child.

Winter in Florida

Ana Maria is enjoying the mild winter weather in Florida.

Lee, Eduardo and Uncle John went fishing and caught LOTS of Spanish Mackerel. Lee knows how to filet them so we don't choke on a bone.

Everything Lee knows about fish he learned from his Uncle John. He's showing Ana Maria the sharp teeth.

Now we are indoors for some swinging fun.

Even though it's an old fashioned swing, Kathryn loves it.

Happy 25th

Dec. 12 we celebrated Sarah's birthday. She invited us to her apartment in Fort Pierce for a Mexican night. Taco bar, bean and corn salad, and the best of all SANGRIA! The Young family, as well as Rosemary, Ana Maria and Kathryn were there to party!

Never a dull moment

The gangs all here. We took many walks around the grounds of Saratoga Springs. It was a beautiful resort with lots to do and see.

A bubble bath in the jacuzzi tub.

A bicycle built for 4.

Kathryn was happy with all the attention she received!

Arts and crafts in the recreation room.

Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party

The girls posing in the lobby of Saratoga Springs. All 13 of us stayed in a 2 bedroom villa. We had tons of fun even though Chris's air mattress deflated in the middle of the night and he ended up sleeping on the floor. He woke up with a hurt neck.

Thank you Aunt Leslie for the matching outfits. They were perfect for Disney.

Uncle Lee and the princess.

A balloon kept Ana Maria entertained while checking in to the resort.

Snow was falling that night and we were prepared. Hats, scarves, jackets, and gloves.

ICE

Is this group vacationing in Antarctica, Alaska? No, we visited the ICE exhibit in Orlando. It was 9 degrees inside the area where ice sculptures made us ooh and aww over their magnificent beauty. We also said brrr!

Even Kathryn had to bundle up.

Interactive ice slides.

Colored ice.

It was an amazing walkthrough and we couldn't wait to get out of the cold.

Hillbilly John

Was he in a fight? Did he run into a wall? Is he losing his teeth from not brushing? NO, he bit into a frozen snicker bar!!

Dinner at Disney

The Ramsey, Rincon, and Young families celebrated the holidays at DisneyWorld. Ana Maria was surprised when she was presented with a Volcano Birthday cake at Rain Forest Cafe in Orlando.

Nancy and Jimmy also waiting for the boat.

The Young family looking good on the dock, also waiting for the boat.

A Winter Day at the Beach

Ana Maria loved being barefoot in the sand at Jensen Sea Turtle Beach. She's cute enough to be a swim suit model!

We made sand castles and waited for the waves to knock them down.

LOTS of shells on our beaches!

Kathryn and Grandmom are walking to try and stay warm.
