Blue Springs State Park

We took a 2 hour nature boat ride. The boat held 60 people and we were the only ones on it. We had our own private tour! We saw lots of alligators, turtles, birds and even manatees.

As long as Kathryn was held she was interested in all the sights and sounds.

Ana Maria and Jimmy didn't mind the 72 degree water at the spring.

The water at Blue Springs is crystal clear and very COLD!

We toured the only tea plantation in the United States. It was on Wadamal Island, SC. Poor Sarah was not feeling well that day.

Southern Hospitality

Aunt Rita had us over for dinner one evening. We had not seen Jessica in almost 6 years. What a beautiful young lady she has become.

Cannon balls at the Battery.

Fort Sumter, where the first shots were fired that started the Civil War.

Sweet Kathryn at Panera.

Patriots Point was awesome. We toured the Yorktown aircraft carrier as well as a submarine.

Family time in Charleston

Kathryn and I enjoy the fresh air outside the aquarium. Behind us is the Cooper River Bridge.

Lunch at the Crab House. Ana Maria now LOVES crabs!

Peek a boo, I see you!

Kathryn gnawing on my umbrella. It kept her happy!

A carriage ride through the historic district of Charleston. It was very educational and interesting.

Easter in South Carolina

Easter Sunday was a very special day. We went to mass at the church Jimmy and I were married in 30 years ago (June 13). We had not been back to St. John the Beloved in Summerville, SC since Rosemary was baptised there. Aunt Rita was with us which made it even more special.

Ana Maria had an Easter egg hunt at her great grandma Sarah's house with some of the neighbor kids.

Kathryn and Grandaddy under the shade of the trees.

Sarah and Rosemary strolling the boardwalk in Francis Biedler Forest.

Great Grandma Sarah with her great grandaughters for the very first time! What a special moment.

The Happy Couple

Sarah Ramsey and Christopher Egan are engaged. They will be married March 3, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Save the date!
