A Fun Bridal Shower

Here's the mother of the groom with her winning teapot. Leslie collected a tea bag each time she heard someone say AJ. She finished with 14 of them. She's wearing the blue dress because she said it was her mom's favorite color.

Sweet sister in laws!

Cute cousins.

The 2 mothers - Ielene and Leslie.

Carrie's Bridal Shower

Carrie's Bridal Shower was held at Lady Ann's Tea Room in Stuart, Florida. It is a quaint old house with many Victorian decorations. Here is Sarah and I waiting for the other guests to arrive.

The mother of the groom, Nicole, and Shelby. Leslie was the winner of the tea bag game. Every time AJ's name was said you took that person's tea bag. Leslie ended up with 14 tea bags and a beautiful tea pot as her prize.

The food was delicious. This is spinach, mushroom and chicken quiche. I ate it all!

All wrapped up in toilet paper! Shelby was the winner of the bridal gown made out of toilet paper game. Leslie, Nicole, Sarah, and I created the designer dress.

Debbie, Nicole, Carrie, and Shelby. Debbie hosted the shower and will be the maid of honor at the wedding. Nicole and Shelby are bridesmaids.

Wedding Day

Lee, Ben, and Sarah await the arrival of Ben's bride, Valerie. Blue skies, aquamarine ocean water and sunshine made it a perfect day!

The girls are having fun in the sun! Behind us is the House of Refuge.

The macho guys posing on the beach! Everyone is all smiles for this happy day!

Uncle John, Aunt Leslie, and cousin Shelby at the reception.

The seashell wedding cake. Isn't it lovely! It matched the theme of the beach wedding.

Ben and Valerie's Wedding

Saturday, March 13, 2010 is the day Ben and Valerie were married. It was a gorgeous day for a wedding at the House of Refuge Beach. The day before it rained ALL day long so we were praying for beautiful Florida weather. Both bride and groom were dressed in white.

Here are the 2 families. The Youngs and the Barberis. That's Ben and Valerie Cuartas in the middle.

The reception lunch was at Wahoo's a lovely waterfront restaurant.

A few of the guests: Nicole, Shannon, Sarah, and Lee.

Ben and Valerie cut the cake. It was a vanilla cake decorated with seashells.
